Is Uville Free?
Registering to become a citizen at Uville is always free! Signing up is quick and easy - if you haven't already done so, why don't you sign up now?
Uville does have a level of membership beyond citizen, which does require a monthly fee. Becoming a 'member' does require your parent's approval, but gives you access to lots of neat stuff, such as a discount on all of the accessories for your room and your character!
Why are some users "citizens" and others "members"?
Uville has two levels of users: citizens and members. Citizens are folks who signed up for free and have access to some of the fun activities at Uville. Members are those folks who pay a monthly fee to gain unlimited access to all sorts of exciting perks.
Logging In
I've lost my password - what should I do?
Resetting your password is a breeze! Simply click the log in button, and look for the phrase "lost your password?" above the log in button. When you click that, you'll be prompted to enter the answer to your password reminder question that you provided at registration. Answer that question correctly, and there you go: you have your password.
Exploring Uville
What is there to do in Uville?
Uville is just bursting with exciting things to do. You can hang out at the arcade and play dozens of great games. You can go to My Room and decorate, rearrange and shop for new items all day long! You can go to the dressing room and do up your character with loads of cool clothing and accessories. Then you can always find your friends, check out their rooms, and explore the village together!
How do I find where I want to go?
We suggest that you wander around the village and discover all of the exciting places to go - however, if you're in a hurry you can always click on the help (?) icon to see an overall lay of the land!
Chatting
Why can't I type whatever I want?
To make sure that we keep Uville as safe as we can, we ask our users to use predefined chat phrases. Using this method, instead of typing whatever you want, ensures that no one will ask you for personal information, and ensures that you won't accidentally share something private with someone you know on Uville. Also, it makes parents pretty happy to know they won't have to worry about your safety while you're playing at Uville!
Friends
How do I make friends?
It's easy! When you see another user that you'd like to be friends with, click that user and choose "add to friends".
How many friends can I have?
As many as you want! We don't place a restriction here at Uville on the number of friends that you can have.
How can my friends visit my room?
To come to your room, a friend will click the "Room" icon in their friends panel. Doing so will bring them instantly into your room! Using the chat panel, you can ask friends to visit and talk about all of the cool accessories you have in your room!
How can I teleport to a friend?
Hey kids, did you know that if you can magically teleport next to a friend who is also in Uville? Plus, you can visit your Friends’ rooms too! How cool is that?
Let’s start with the basics of teleporting to where your Friend is located.
When this icon is lit, that means your Friend is online somewhere in Uville—hey that’s good news, bet you they’re having fun!
If you want to teleport to where your Friend is, clicking on the middle button is for you! Keep in mind though a couple of rules:
1. Since citizens of Uville are always on the go, your Friend may move before you arrive, but they will still likely be nearby when you arrive.
2. Citizens of Uville also value their privacy, so if your Friend is decorating their room, playing a game (and earning free Ubucks!) or not in the Uville village at the time, you won’t be able to teleport to them and you will see a message on your screen that your Friend is unavailable and to please try again in a few moments.
When you are able to successfully teleport, you will see a screen that says you are teleporting to your Friend—and you can hang out together in Uville. Way cool!
This house button allows you to go into your Friends room anytime you want. You can check out their design flair (or lack of it!) and what neat furniture they have—even if they’re not home! How fun is that? Of course, since it is their room, you can’t move any furniture—only admire their style--hey, who knew a pirate’s cannon could look so good by the couch!
How can I invite more friends to join Uville?
Tell them about it! Or better yet, on your My Page click the icon for invitations and print some out. For every member you refer, you'll earn 200 Ubucks!
My Page
How often do news announcements come out?
News announcements show up on your My Page as new and exciting things happen at Uville. If you miss one, you can always check the 'What's New' page to find out all the latest scoop at Uville ' and get a few sneak previews too! You'll have to check it to be sure you don't miss anything!
How can I customize My Page?
Simply click the box next to the favorite item you would like to edit in the Edit My Favs box. From there you can choose a new favorite character, a new favorite color, sport and pet.
My Room
Where do I get stuff for my room?
You can get stuff for your room by clicking Shop from your My Room panel to see the latest and greatest in Uville furnishings!
I just bought something for my room - where did it go?
All of your purchases go right into your inventory panel on the left hand side of your screen.
How do I change the wallpaper or floor, or place items in my room?
It's simple. On the My Room panel, click edit. This will put you in edit mode and you'll be able to redecorate with ease! All of your available items are in the panel under Inventory - simply click and drag one into your room. If it's flooring or wallpaper, it will appear exactly where it needs to go. If it's a piece of furniture, you'll be able to click and drag it to move it around.
How do I get back my original floor and wallpaper?
When you first visit your My Room, you have the "basic floor" and "solid gray" wallpaper. You can visit the shop to change these anytime you want!
But remember, if you want to get the original floor or wallpaper back, you'll have to buy them from the store!
My Character
How do I dress my character?
You always dress your character in the Dressing Room. You can get to the Dressing Room by clicking the Dressing Room icon on your character's homepage, or by clicking the Dressing Room icon when you are in the Uville village.
I just bought something for my character - where did it go?
All of your purchases go directly to your Inventory, which can be viewed in the Dressing Room.
How can I change my character?
On your My Page, you are free to change your character, any time you like!
Simply click the picture of your current character, then select the new character you want to be!
Changing to a character that you have never played will give you a fresh start, with 200 Ubucks, new clothing to buy, a new empty My Room and a new character to use in Uville.
And of course, you can change back to any character you've played before, and all your Ubucks, clothing and the items in your My Room associated with that character will be there waiting for you! Even if you've been away from Uville for a while!
My UBook Questions
What is the Ubook?
The Ubook is a fun, interactive way to capture who you are right now and what's important to you at this very moment. By answering questions - a lot like a survey - you can jot down all your faves, your best friends, and likes and dislikes. You can print it out and over time see how your answers change.
UBucks
What are Ubucks and how do I use them?
UBucks are the currency here at Uville. You need them to buy items for your room and your character.
How do I earn more Ubucks?
You can earn Ubucks in a lot of ways. Some suggestions are:
- Play games!
- Refer a friend. Each referral earns you 200 Ubucks!
Games
What kinds of games are there?
Games are plentiful at Uville and we think we have something for everyone! We have educational games, racing games, brainteasers, puzzles, and action games. We even have an epic game - Escape to Uville that takes you on an adventure as you help Racoo escape from the Zoo and make his way to Uville with the angry zoo keeper hot on his trail!
How many Ubucks do I get for playing?
Play some games and find out! Each game gives you a different amount of Ubucks based on your score. Some give a little, and some give a lot – so play them all to find out!
Is there a list of top scores for each game on Uville?
Yes, upon completing each game you play, you’ll see a list of that game’s Top Ten scores for the preceding seven days of game play. So work hard to get your score up and get your name at the top!!

How do I make a wishlist?
Dreaming of a plush Burpoo? Really want a Racoo figurine? Or a Ucrew t shirt? We understand. That's why we created the wish list. To create your own, filled with all of the wonderful Uville items you can imagine, simply click the "store" link and start browsing! See something you like? Click add to my wishlist and then share it with your friends and family. You'll need your mom's help to type in some email addresses!
PARENT SECTION
Membership
What are the different types of membership?
There are 2 different types of membership at Uville: Citizens and Members.
Citizens are registered, non-paying users. Citizens have access to a variety of additional destinations and activities on the website. They can, play most of the games, choose and customize a character avatar, customize a MyPage, create a My Ubook, create a wish list in the online shopping module, and see all destinations, but will only have access to some since a few are set aside for Members Only!
Members are registered users who pay a small monthly fee for access to additional games, functionality including all of the access that a Citizen does plus:
- Unlimited access to all destinations
- Receive a 20% discount on all items in Uville
How do I update account information?
To update account information, including billing information and mailing addresses, you will need to log in to the Parent Section. Click Parents, choose Account Access, and enter your username and password (not your child's!).
Shopping
What is the Wish List?
The wishlist is a place where users can select items they would like to receive as a gift. Much like shopping online, users will have the ability to update their Wish List any time. Then, users can send out their wishlist to individual recipients or an entire list at any time.
Who can receive the Wish List?
Your child will need your help to identify people who receive the wish list - for example, Grandma, Aunts and Uncles. You will enter an email address for each person, and that individual will receive a pre-set email from your child listing items.
Parent Account Issues
What can I do with my parent account?
Parents of Members at Uville have access to a special Parents Section where you can log in, update your account, and view billing information for your child's account. Once logged in, you will be able to:
- View your child's membership information
- Update mailing, billing addresses
- Updated stored credit card information
- Select / Change membership auto renewal

What are the computer requirements to have the best experience in Uville?
Resolution
Uville requires a 1024 x 768 minimum display resolution.

Uville supports the following browsers:
- Internet Explorer 6 or 7 for PC users

- Safari and Firefox 2 or 3 for Mac users

I can't open and print my Ubook, what should I do?
You may not have the Adobe Reader plug-in installed. Visit the
Adobe Reader page to download and install the free Adobe Reader.
Why do I see the message "Unable to connect"?
You will receive this message for one of two reasons:
1) If you are logged into your Uville account on another computer, browser window or browser tab. Uville only supports being logged in at one computer, in one browser window at a time.
2) If your internet connection is slow or is interrupted while loading Uville. A broadband connection is required for the best Uville experience.
